Ferreira Power Group (“FPG”) has a strong team of professionals that is comprised of experienced utility managers, engineers, and specialized field labor workforce ready to support electric utilities across the United States. Leadership

Kevin Kruse

PRESIDENT

As president of Ferreira Power Group, Kevin brings over 34 years of experience in operations, engineering, and field technical services in electric utility services. After over a decade in power generation, he took on the Director of Transmission & Distribution role supporting one of the nation’s largest utility companies. He leverages his team building, leadership, budget analysis, cost estimating, planning, scheduling, and quality control skills with a laser focus on safety and client service. Kevin’s knowledge of engineering principles and practices and experience supervising engineering resources, technical field labor workforce, and project teams play a vital role in the Company’s success.

Charles Tilburg

VICE PRESIDENT, OPERATIONS

As VP of Operations, Charles “Chuck” Tilburg is responsible for the daily operation of all projects under contract with the Ferreira Power Group. He is a leader who is passionate about providing the best-qualified personnel to our clients. Prior to FPG, Chuck proudly served in the United States Air Force for six years and subsequently worked in leadership positions with a Fortune 500 Utility Company within its highly respected nuclear power division. After gaining extensive operations experience in the rigorous nuclear industry, Chuck took the opportunity to start his lineman apprenticeship and, after four years, received his Journeyman Lineman title. Chuck has remained in the Transmission & Distribution industry for 35 years and has held many different positions, including Journeyman Lineman, Supervisor Regional Operations Manager Regional Operations, a Project Manager and Sr. Project Manager, and Superintendent/Subject Matter Expert.

Josh Hermonson

DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING

Josh Hermonson has worked in the utility industry for over 15 years and has developed into a leader within the field. His technical background has served him well over the years, allowing him to grow from designing projects independently to progressing into various leadership roles. He’s the first to say his success is predicated directly on the team around him. At Ferreira, he’s helped build a diverse group of Designers and Engineers that encompass all walks of life. His approach to directing the team is rooted in his caring and respect for the team. Josh values the safety and emphasizes employee engagement to continue the safety-first mindset in the workplace and at home.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida, where he graduated with honors. A native Floridian, Josh enjoys outdoor activities and cherishes time with his family and friends.

Chad Griffith

FIELD SERVICES MANAGER

As Field Services Manager, Chad manages our field teams that collect and report critical data for our electric utility clients. Chad’s teams perform routine/recurring inspections and large programmatic fieldwork programs, including complete feeder surveys, utility pole inspection programs, automated lateral switches, automated transformer switches, transformer monitors, and capacitor bank programing. Prior to FPG, Chad managed similar teams for a leading utility services provider.

Vesna Petrov

MANAGER & QA/QC

As Manager of QA/QC Vesna reviews FPG workproduct to ensure accurateness and application of client guidelines, DCS/DERM standards, specifications, practices and procedures in paring layout of overhead and underground electric T&D facilities. Vesna has been working for utility engineering firms since graduating with an engineering degree in 1999.
